Good Fortune Fest 2009

A nations treasure is in its scholars - Chinese Proverb

It’s that season, my friends… in hard times it’s even more essential to give what you can. I am touched and honored that several of my families have reached out and asked me to donate to their children’s school fundraising efforts. First up - Flora Vista Elementary. Tireless auction chair Diane Silberman, also of Boobs on the Move fame, has organized a super event. One cool feature of her school’s Good Fortune Fest - online bidding on silent auction items. But only through March 19th! So check it out - there are some amazing goods and services being auctioned, it’s a win-win deal. I’m donating a family portrait session and visit to Quail Botanical Gardens, and sweetening the deal with a gorgeous 20×30 canvas gallery wrap and three matted and mounted gift prints. You can check out the details here. Bid now, bid often!

One Response to “Good Fortune Fest ~ Flora Vista Elementary”

  1. […] Multi-generation portraits are truly meaningful, and it’s important to take the time to do these! Proud Nana Sharla knew exactly what she wanted. On a picture-perfect San Diego evening, we created some portraits of the entire family. The main purpose was an extended family portrait. Sharla’s was the winning bid at the Flora Vista Elementary School auction, and she will have her work cut out for her trying to choose her images! I also took some time to individual portraits of all her grandchildren. I think they each have such beautiful eyes, I picked a few here to share that really show them off. Thank you to Sharla & Mike, Scott & Diane, their sons Daniel and Dustin, Roger & Annette and their children Hannah and Nicholas. I enjoyed working with all of you! […]
