Ryder and Kai
April 6th, 2008 by Dawn Tacker
Partners in adventure, intrepid explorers, brothers - meet Ryder and Kai. And another family to add to my collection of nicest families in the world. What melted my heart during today’s session… Ryder singing to his little brother, and baby Kai answering him in his lullaby singsong voice. It was not only perfectly adorable, but seemed to center Kai and brought them both into their own little world of harmony. Thank you Keith and Letania for the pleasure.

Oh, so beautiful! Just the few pictures I have seen warm my heart and make me smile. Thank you for a wonderful session and for helping us to capture the joy of life and our loving family. These are memories that are irreplaceable! Thank you again and again!
They are just the sweetest little boys in the whole world and you have captured their true love and joy. Deeta and Boppa

[…] Love these boys! Ryder and Kai braved the elements yesterday for a beautiful, solitary beach session with parents Keith and Letania. The negative low tide revealed some beautiful tidepools; the boys loved exploring them! You can see all the growing up that both boys have done since our first session together. Kai was so into following big brother Ryder all over the beach, and he has so much to say! Ryder is still the sweet, charming boy, with such beautiful manners and a true affection for his baby brother and parents. I love this family! Keith and Letania, as always it was a true pleasure. Thanks for braving the wind, cold, and threat of rain! […]
[…] So fun to follow a family over the course of a year! Here is the latest installment in the story of Ryder and Kai. You can see their first session here, and their second one here. Kai has gone through such dramatic changes as he reaches the end of his second year. He is still the same loving boy, but now we can add “independent” and “assertive” to the description! Ryder too has done so much growing. He is “more” himself - more outgoing, more adventurous, even more polite and considerate! How many preschoolers can you say have that going for them?! I love my time with their family! It’s such a pleasure, and I’m so glad that we met and have become friends. Thank you Letania and Keith for a wonderful morning at Leo Carillo Ranch. […]
